Rings

Not sure of your ring size? Determining your size is easy. The best way to get an accurate measurement is to have your finger measured by a jeweler at your local jewelry store. If that's not a possibility then use our ring sizing guide to help you determine your size. Just print the guide from the link on the left and follow the instructions. If you're then still unsure of your size and need assistance, please contact me before making your purchase!

You can also purchase a reusable ring sizer here.

Note that wide width bands require going up half to a full size.

Necklaces

Where a necklace lays varies between individuals based on torso length, neck thickness, and bust. The illustration on the right shows the most common necklace lengths. If you have a favorite necklace and would like a necklace in that same length carefully measure the total length of the chain including any jump rings and clasps.

Ear Wires

Body jewelry is typically measured in gauge which is the thickness of the sheet or wire from which it is made. Gauge is a unit of measurement. Jewelry inserts for stretched ear holes are correctly called plugs, eyelets, or tunnels, not gauges. The method for enlarging an ear hole is called stretching.

A standard ear wire on a typical modern earring is between 20 and 18 gauge. Most body jewelry is a larger gauge. It can be confusing because the smaller the number the thicker or larger the diameter. After 00, the diameter of body jewelry is usually measured in fractional inches.
