Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question? I have answers! Here you'll find answers to the most frequently asked questions. If you can't find the answer to your questions here, please contact me!

Do you make all the jewelry shown on your web site?

Absolutely! All pieces are handcrafted by me in my home studio. However, I do not cut the stones and some findings—such as chain—may be manufactured by a third party.

Are the materials you use genuine?

Yes! All item descriptions disclose the materials used and whether stones have or have not been treated. Some stones and beads may have been treated for stability, added sparkle, or color enhancement.

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes! I guarantee my work. If a piece breaks or fails because of my craftsmanship I will fix it at no additional cost to you. However, if a piece is damaged due to normal wear and tear, mishandling, or abuse there is a fee to repair the piece. Some pieces may be beyond repair due to the extent of damage. The fee varies depending on the work required.

Do you take custom orders?

Yes! However, my current workload and schedule dictates whether I have the time or not for custom orders. Please visit the Custom Orders page to check if I'm currently accepting custom work.

What's the difference between Made To Order and Custom Order jewelry?

Made to Order jewelry is a design that I've already created and fabricated at least once. When you purchase a Made to Order item that piece will be created after you place your order. It will be put into the production schedule, fabricated, and finished within the time frame stated on the item listing. Once the piece is finished it will be shipped to you. Plan accordingly if you need a piece by a specific date.

Custom Jewelry is a piece of jewelry created just for you. It may be a piece based off an existing design that I have already created or it may be your idea and you would like me to create it for you. Please visit the Custom Jewelry page to learn more about this process.

Can you resize a ring I want to buy?
Yes and no. It depends on the ring. Some rings can easily be sized up 1/4 to 1/2 size larger, but cannot be resized smaller. Some rings cannot be resized at all due to the complexity of the design or the stone setting. If you want a ring resized please contact me before purchasing to ensure that it is a possibility. There is an additional fee for resizing and the fee depends on the ring.
What's the difference between sterling silver and sterling silver filled?

Sterling silver (.925) is an alloy containing 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper.

Sterling silver filled is a 1/10th sterling silver layer bonded onto a brass core. It is much thicker and far more durable than plating, yet more affordable than .925 sterling silver.

I'd like to send my order as a gift. Do you provide gift wrapping?

Yes! Beautiful packaging is included with every order. However, if you have specific requests for gift giving (such as a handwritten note card) please let me know during checkout so I can try and accommodate your request.

Can I pay using my credit or debit card?

Absolutely! We accept credit and debit payments via Square. You can also pay with a credit or debit card through PayPal.

Be sure to provide your exact billing address and phone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card has on file for you). Incorrect information may cause an error and decline the transaction.
I'm local. Can I pick up my order to save on shipping?

Nope. All orders are shipped even if you're local to the greater Puget Sound/Seattle area. Shipping is the quickest and most cost effective way for you to receive your order when you consider coordinating schedules, the cost of fuel, and sitting in traffic.

You can read our complete shipping polices here.

Do you ship internationally?
Do you accept returns & exchanges?

Your satisfaction is important to me. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase I will be happy to give you a refund for any ready-to-ship items within one week of receiving your purchase. After that time, no refunds are available. Items must be returned in their original, unworn condition to be eligible for a refund.

Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility. Original shipping costs are not refundable. There are no refunds available on sale items.

There are no refunds available on personalized or custom work due to the personal nature of these pieces. If an item was sized to your exact specifications upon ordering returns are not accepted. Please consult the Sizing Guides if you are unsure of which size to purchase. If you are still unsure after measuring, please contact me and I can help you determine the size you need before purchasing.

Do you sell your jewelry in a store?

I don't sell my jewelry in retail stores nor do I have a store front. Occasionally, I vend at shows in the greater Pacific Northwest. Any shows at which I'll be vending are listed in the show schedule.

I lost an earring. Can you send me another?

Lost earrings can sometimes be made to order if I still have the materials available to recreate the piece. I'm not always able to recreate a piece to match. In that case, purchasing a new pair of earrings is often the best and most cost effective solution for you.

Matching an earring takes a considerable amount of time as well as polishing and refinishing the original earring so the finish matches on both. However, if you really love the earrings and want a replacement made please contact me so we can discuss your situation, whether or not it's possible, and the current price for this service.
