Avoid the following to prevent damage to your jewelry.
- Remove your jewelry before showering, bathing, and swimming
- Do not wear your jewelry in hot springs as the sulfur in the water will tarnish the silver
- Remove rings before washing hands, dishes, or doing laundry
- Remove jewelry before exercise, gardening, and physical labor
- Avoid contact with lotions, perfumes, oils, and cleaners
- Store in an airtight container or anti-tarnish pouch when not being worn
- Do not use abrasives, scrubbing pads, silver polish, or cleaning compounds to clean your jewelry
Polishing with a Sunshine Cloth or Pro Polishing Pad will remove tarnish and return the natural shine to your piece.
Assemblage Jewelry
The materials used for assemblage jewelry can vary widely and may include vintage tribal components, antique beads, glass, gemstones, or new and old metal. The same care for sterling and gemstone pieces should be applied to assemblage jewelry as well. Please refer to the care card that was included with your purchase.
Professional Cleaning
If you would like your Twilight Luxe jewelry professionally refurbished please contact me. Refurbishing includes cleaning, tightening loose stones and findings, fresh patina, and polishing to remove minor scratches. The fee for this service starts at $25 plus shipping, but may increase depending on the individual piece and the amount of work it entails. This service does not include repairs for damage incurred during normal wear & tear, mishandling, or abuse.
