Shipping

I strive for careful packaging and fast shipping so that you receive your purchase in the condition in which it was shipped and as quickly as possible. However, it is your responsibility to ensure that you provide an accurate, secure, and safe shipping address. Once packages are dropped off at the post office it is out of my hands and up to the carrier to safely deliver your package.

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?

Shipping costs are based on weight and destination. Use the shipping calculator in the Shopping Cart with your zip code for real-time shipping costs. To calculate shipping, add the items you are interested in to the shopping cart for a quote.

Item weight is cumulative and can often add up to more than the actual total weight of the package incurring higher than actual shipping costs at checkout. In these cases, any overages will be refunded.

I'M LOCAL. CAN I PICK UP MY ORDER TO SAVE ON SHIPPING?

Nope. All orders are shipped even if you're local to the greater Seattle area. Shipping is the quickest and most cost effective way for you to receive your order when you consider coordinating schedules, the cost of fuel, and sitting in traffic.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

Ready-to-ship items usually ship Monday through Friday. I need 24-48 hours to carefully prepare your order for shipping. If I am unavailable and can't ship orders right away a notice will be displayed on the shop banner at the top of all pages indicating the shipping delay. Please plan accordingly if you need an item right away.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE?

Most domestic shipments are usually delivered within 2 to 5 days of placing an order. International orders take longer for delivery and shipping times vary depending on the method of shipment and the destination country. Twilight Luxe can't guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by Twilight Luxe or other parties as an estimate only. You are encouraged to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping. Twilight Luxe is not responsible for delays, mishandling, damage, or lost packages due to handling by USPS or any other carrier. Shipping insurance and/or a delivery signature is highly encouraged for your protection.

WHAT METHODS DO YOU USE FOR SHIPPING?

Currently, all orders ship via United States Postal Service (USPS) First-Class or Priority Mail.

CAN MY ORDER BE TRACKED AND INSURED?

All orders come with a tracking number. Insurance or Signature Confirmation can be purchased for an additional fee and is highly encouraged. Priority Mail includes quick transit times, tracking, delivery confirmation, free insurance up to $50, and tracing in the case of missing or lost packages. However, if USPS tracking shows the package has been delivered there's often nothing that can be done. It is up to you to inquire at your local post office about the delivery attempt of your package.

First-Class Mail is very affordable. It's often slower than Priority Mail, but sometimes just as fast depending on your location. It offers a tracking number and insurance options for an additional fee.

For INTERNATIONAL orders outside the United States, Twilight Luxe is not responsible for any delays, mishandling, damage, lost packages, taxes, customs fees, import fees, or duties imposed by your country.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PACKAGE IS LOST OR STOLEN?

Lost, stolen, and missing packages are becoming more frequent! Please use a safe and secure delivery address when placing your order.

I do my part to ship your order, but once it leaves my hands it’s out of my control. For this reason, insurance and/or a delivery signature is highly encouraged. If you do not have a secure mailbox and/or are concerned about porch pirates, theft, or lost packages, please consider shipping to a secure location such as your place of employment or to a friend or family member who can receive the package for you.

If the tracking shows your package was delivered, but you are unable to locate it, it may have been delivered to a neighbor, a building manager/office, hidden on the premises, or quite possibly arrived at your local post office, yet not actually delivered to its final destination.

If USPS determines a package has been delivered yet you are unable to locate it by checking all the above options it is most likely that the package has been stolen and there is nothing further that I can do and I cannot offer a replacement or a refund.

If USPS tracking shows the package was delivered filing an insurance claim does nothing. USPS will deny the claim and no further action can be taken to find or replace your package.

Twilight Luxe is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

WHAT COUNTRIES DO YOU SHIP TO?

Twilight Luxe ships to many countries outside of the United States. If you receive an address error when placing an order please contact me so that I can make sure your country is included in the list of shipping destinations. International shipping charges vary depending on weight, size, and destination of package.

DO I HAVE TO PAY TAXES, CUSTOMS FEES, OR DUTY?

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS are solely responsible for any national, regional, and/or local customs, duties, import fees, miscellaneous charges, and/or taxes imposed on your order by your country. Twilight Luxe does not impose these charges and they are not included in the price of the item or shipping/insurance costs. Please check with your country's customs office as to what these additional charges might be prior to completing your purchase.

Washington State Customers: Twilight Luxe automatically charges and withholds the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within Washington state. For orders shipped to other states, you are solely responsible for all sales taxes or any other taxes applicable.

WILL YOU MARK MY CUSTOMS LABEL AS A "GIFT"?

No. It is an international and U.S. federal offense and ILLEGAL to falsify information on customs documents. All customs documentation will truthfully disclose the value and contents of the package and cannot be falsified or marked as "GIFT." It is also illegal for you to ask me to mark your customs documentation as "GIFT." Please take this into consideration before placing your order.
